Starring : Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Curtis Jackson, Carla Gugino, John Leguizamo, Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Dennehy
Director : John Avnet
Running Time : 97 mins
Long time New York detectives Thomas "Turk" Cowan (De Niro) and David "Rooster" Fisk (Pacino) are called on to investigate the murder of a well-known pimp, and start to believe that it may be connected to another murder they investigated many years before when they discover a poem at the scene of the crime, similar if not the same as the one found at the original crime scene.
De Niro, as usual, is very effective here, but Pacino seemed a little hammy in my opinion. The movie itself was a little slow at the beginning, then suddenly speeds up half way through. The twist was a little obvious, but effective in some ways, although it did feel a little silly to so blatantly reveal the twist in the way that the director did.
