Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skulls (2008) 7/10

Starring : Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf, Ray Winstone, John Hurt
Director : Steven Spielberg
Running Time : 123 mins

It’s 1957, and Indiana Jones (Ford) finds himself once again called into action when a young man named Mutt (La Beaouf) asks for his help in stopping a group of Russians who are in search of the mysterious and legendary City Of Gold, but the clues they find in a crystal skull lead them to some very unusual discoveries.

This wasn’t as good as any of the previous Indiana Jones movies, in part due to Ford being so old, but also because Spielberg and Lucas are beginning to lose their touch. The plot meanders a little, and the lack of Nazis was a little sad, but the action was still there, albeit largely CGI, and action buffs may still be impressed despite the slightly unsual turn the movie takes towards the end.
