Starring : Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Michael Angarano, Yifei Liu
Director : Ron Minkoff
Running Time : 101 mins
Jason Tripitikis (Angarano), a teenager with an obsession with Kung Fu, finds himself transported back through time to ancient China where he is teamed up with a group of martial arts warriors with a mission to help free the long imprisoned Monkey King (Li), facing many dangers along the way whilst also learning some valuable lessons.
I enjoyed this movie immensely, from the drunken Jackie Chan to the seemingly miscast Jet Li as the Monkey King. Li manages to make the character of the Monkey King his own, and is barely recognisable as the sort of character he usually plays, being bouncey and full of life rather than completely morose. This is a great kids movie, and I recommend it to all.
