Starring : Sylvester Stallone, Charles S Dutton, Polly Walker, Kris Kristofferson
Director : Jim Gillespie
Running Time : 92 mins
Following the death of both his partner and his fiancé, FBI agent Jake Malloy (Stallone) turns to drink, and is eventually sent to a rehab clinic to recover. But when some of the other guests of the clinic turn up dead, Malloy starts to think that the killer may have tracked him down and is out to get him one final time.
This movie was pretty good. The setting made it feel like a thriller version of The Thing, and the slow paced action gave it a distinctive atmosphere. Stallone managed well in his role, with the rest of the cast playing caricatures if nothing else, but luckily this didn’t spoil the movie and in fact gave it greater characters as it made it harder to guess who the killer was.
