With their parents away and their sister Lisa (Stewart) left in charge, brothers Walter (Hutcherson) and Danny (Bobo) accidentally get drawn into a board game that launches their house into space. With the help of a nameless astronaut (Shepard), they are forced to play the game to its conclusion - with every move bringing new dangers - or be left trapped in space for the rest of their lives.

This was a fun filled addition to the Jumanji mythology, with the two main kids playing their roles perfectly. Obviously there are some annoying facts which don’t seem right about the concept, but it’s a kids adventure movie so it doesn’t really matter. Shepard brings some much needed adult supervision to the proceedings, and Stewart there as something for the teenaged boys to look at.
