Following the murder of her father by her uncle, young Kentoki (Saiga) is rescued by Lord Raiko (Winant), the leader of a faction known as the Four Horsemen, and raised as a boy to protect her identity from her uncle, whose daughter Ohni-Hime (Orr) has now become princess thanks to the treachery of her father.

This short animated movie was okay, but it didn’t really flesh out the story enough for my liking. The art work was interesting, giving the movie the feel of being animated on parchment, and the action was fine, but it really did need something extra to keep my interest, which began to wane in the first ten minutes.
