Starring : Bill Murray, Breckin Meyer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Billy Connolly, Ian Abercrombie, Tim Curry, Lucy Davis
Director : Tim Hill
Running Time : 82 mins
Garfield’s owner Jon Arbuckle (Meyer) travels to England, and Garifeld (Murray) and Odie hitch hike along for the journey, but trouble soon looms when Garfield is mistaken for a wealthy cat named Prince (Curry) who owns his own castle, and whose murder is being planned by the evil Lord Dargis (Connolly) who wants to turn the castle into a series a condominiums.
Much like the original movie, this was truly aimed at the young, which means it’s difficult to judge. There’s plenty of slapstick and toilet humour hear for the kids. But it’s still possible for adults to find this amusing in parts. It’s just a little sad to see Billy Connolly in such an obviously hammy role.
