On the one year anniversary of their father’s death, three brothers go on a journey through India in the hopes of burying the hatchet over their differences, but as they continue on their journey they find themselves kicked off their train and stranded in the middle of the desert.
This was a lot more up to speed with The Royal Tenenbaums. Anderson’s previous movie, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, was something of a disappointment, but thankfully this has more likeable characters – although in themselves they’re hateful – and more of a direction for the movie.
