One Hour Photo (2002) 8/10

Sy Parrish (Williams) works in a photo developers in a big supermarket where he slowly becomes obsessed over the years with a young couple and their son who frequently come in to get their photos printed. However, when Sy discovers that the husband, Will Yorkin (Vartan), is having an affair, he decides to expose him for the cheat that he really is.

In spite of my dislike for Robin Williams, this is the second of his films in the last month that I’ve actually enjoyed. It might simply be that I only like his movies when they get bad reviews, but this was very entertaining indeed. The pacing was good and slow, and built up at a speed that suited the movie and made for good watching. Definitely worth checking out if you like movies about people suddenly going nuts.
