Bewitched (2005) 6/10

When actor Jack Wyatt (Ferrell) tries to rejuvenate his acting career by remaking hit 60’s TV show Bewitched, his first choice for the role of Samantha is unknown and untrained actress Isabel Bigelow (Kidman), but little does Jack know that Isabel is in fact a real witch who has tried to give up witchcraft to lead a normal human life.

This wasn’t a bad movie, I think it was just a case of bad casting. Ferrell was a little too over the top to play Darrin, which is saying a lot, and Kidman just didn’t have any charisma in the role of Samantha. If this had have had different actors in the role, it might have made a nice twist on the original series, but unfortunately it was too hammy to say the least.
