Scary Movie (2000) 7/10

A group of teenagers find themselves the target of a ghost faced serial killer when they receive notes from someone claiming to know what they did last summer. Cindy Campbell (Faris) finds herself particularly considered as, one by one, all of her closest friends are killed in increasingly stupid ways.

Despite being arguably the best of the series, this still isn't that brilliant a spoof. It takes the plots of Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer and adds in a few knob and gay jokes for good measure, but really fails to deliver anything particularly imaginative, especially when you consider this is based in part on a movie that in itself was a parody. Worth watching, but perhaps only once.
