Starring : Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Scott Patterson, Betsy Russell, Julie Benz, Meagan Good
Director : David Hackl
Running Time : 89 mins
Another five less-than-innocent individuals find themselves the latest victims of Jigsaw (Bell) and his complicated traps. This time, though, it can't be Jigsaw that's behind the traps as he's dead, so the FBI find themselves having to figure out who Jigsaw's latest student might be, and stop him before all five victims wind up dead.
Although not as good as the first two films, this is still and interesting instalment which will hopefully be the last. Any more expansion on this franchise is really going to water it down until there's little left, and rumour has it that the sixth instalment is due out next year. This has all the ingredients of the originals, filled with clues as to what is really going on, but without Tobin Bell in the driving seat, the sympathy and respect we had for Jigsaw is quickly dissipating.
