Davey Stone (Sandler) despises Christmas for reasons all his own, so when he goes on a crazed rampage through town he is sentenced to community service helping referee the local youth basketball team. When his home then burns to the ground, the referee he's assisting, Whitey (Sandler), takes him in and does his level best to turn Davey's opinion of the holiday season around.

What this loses in plot this more than makes up for with its stunning animation which would put Disney to shame and day. Sandler manages to give us a unique Scrooge-style Christmas comedy which is filled with good humour and crude songs with a reasonable storyline that gives everyone a happy ending. This movie is perfect for the holiday season.
