Starring : Chris Elliott, Mark Webber, Jean Smart, Schuyler Fisk, Iggy Pop, Pam Grier, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Chevy Chase
Director : Chris Koch
Running Time : 85 mins
Due to major weather conditions, the school board call for a Snow Day, so no-one has to go into school. Hal Branston (Webber) takes advantage of the day off to get closer to the girl of his dreams, Claire (Chriqui), little realising that his best friend Lane (Fisk) wants to be more than friends. Meanwhile Hal's little sister Natalie (Zena Grey) tries to stop the Snow-plowman (Elliott) from clearing the streets before the next day or else everyone will have to go back to school!
This is a nice family comedy which has enough simultaneous story lines to keep viewers of all ages engrossed. Fans of Home Alone will enjoy the Snow-plowman story line, which gives us a nice slapstick element to the movie, while teen comedy romance fans will like the main plot the most.
