Syd (Evans) is a typical New Yorker who thinks more about snorting coke than treating his girlfriend London (Biel) right, which is one of the reasons they broke up, but when she decides to move across the country, he goes to her leaving party to confront her about it and try to win her back, but spends most of the night hiding in the bathroom.

This is another movie where the simple scenario could have been so much more. Evans isn't a very likeable characters, and at know point do you route for him - except perhaps when he gets into an argument with Isla Fisher - and Biel is far from innocent in their relationship but, as they are two such unlikeable characters, their dynamic does work to some extent.
