Shy fast food worker Lily (Horsley) finds herself falling for computer nerd Jarrod (Clement), who comes into her restaurant every lunch time. When she's fired from her job, she finally plucks up the courage to talk to him and wangles her way to his Favourite Animal fancy dress contest where she manages to impress him with her gaming skills.

Aside from the character of Lily, pretty much all of the characters here are hateful. Jarrod is probably the least likeable characters I've ever seen in a movie, but his distinctly dislikeable nature really does help with the film. It's hard to tell why Lily likes Jarrod in the first place but, as in real life, their attraction doesn't need explaining, it just is. This is a fun little movie which, although without direction, tells a sad yet uplifting tale.
