Starring : Noel Clarke, Adam Deacon, Scarlett Alice Johnson, Jacob Anderson, Danny Dyer
Director : Noel Clake
Running Time : 96 mins
After serving six years in prison for murder, Sam (Clarke) comes out of jail and chooses to turn against his old violent lifestyle, but the friends of his victim Trife are a lot more reluctant to turn the other cheek and decide to exact revenge against the ex-con.
When you look at the fact that this was written and directed by Noel Clarke, who played Sam in this and Kidulthood, it becomes clear that Clarke is using the popularity of the first movie to try to expand on his character and make him a little more sympathetic. The problem is I didn't sympathise with him, I just thought he was an idiot. Add to this the fact that the characters aren't as rich and realistic as they were in the first movie, and appear more as weak stereotypes, and you'll probably find yourself not enjoying this as much.
