Starring : Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Scott Patterson, Betsy Russell, Lyriq Bent, Athena Karkanis
Director : Darren Lynn Bousman
Running Time : 89 mins
Despite the fact that Jigsaw (Bell) and his loyal apprentice Amanda (Smith) are both dead, but their games have not yet come to an end. FBI agents Strahm (Patterson) and Perez (Karkanis) are brought in to investigate when it seems that Jigsaw has left one more puzzle to be solved, and he’s been sending the clues for SWAT commander Rigg (Bent) to try and solve.
Despite the fact that this series of movies has started to descend into the ridiculous, this is still a pretty decent thriller. It’s hard to say that this will be the last instalment, as I thought the third one would have to be the last, but if this franchise is continued, it clearly won’t get any better, and may even taint the originals. Worth watching, but don’t expect it all to make sense.
