Ben Gates (Cage) decided to follow in his father’s footsteps when he discovers that the mythical treasure of the Founding Fathers that he’s been told about since childhood may well be within his grasp, but as he begins his search, following a series of cryptic clues, he finds himself being hindered at every turning by his one time colleague Ian Howe (Bean) as well as the FBI who think he robbed a museum,
This was actually a surprisingly entertaining family adventure, much in the same vein as the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise. The audience are invited to follow the heroes of the piece and try to solve the clues with them, whilst being entertained along the way with plenty of chases and gun fights and general adventure. This is definitely a fun movie for all the family, and worth checking out if you haven’t already seen it.
