Terminator 3 : Rise Of The Machines (2003) 6/10

John Connor (Stahl) finds himself under attack from the comically named Terminatrix (Loken), another robot from the future who has been sent back with plans to kill him, but an original model Terminator (Schwarzenegger) has also been sent back to protect him from the evil robot and prevent SkyNet from causing the future Armageddon.

This movie was okay, but it wasn’t a patch on the original two movies. For some reason the writers decided to try to inject too much humour into a movie that’s subject matter is clearly death, destruction and general resignation to a terrible future, but there are some stupid scenes that are clearly aimed at children due to the movies rating having dramatically dropped to a 12, but compared to some of the desperate money-making sequels at the time this was pretty good.
