The Fast And The Furious (2001) 6/10

Brian O’Connor (Walker) is a cop who is sent undercover to infiltrate a group of street racers who are involved in a series of car thefts in the city. As he grows closer to the groups inner circle, he finds himself questioning whether or not he really wants to see any of his new friends get punished for their crimes.

This is a simple enough movie with little plot to worry about, so nothing gets in the way of the action. The main problem, however, is that the lead actor, Walker, really isn’t a very good actor, and it’s only for the fact that his character doesn’t really need a personality that this doesn’t spoil the film. Worth watching if you like mindless action, but don’t expect to be dazzled by the script or the plotline.
