When his adoptive father Ben (Elliott) is killed by attacking coyotes, Otis the Cow (James) is forced to take responsibility for once in his life and is voted to take over the protection of the farm. The problem is, he has no idea how to take charge, and finds things increasingly difficult as the coyotes plan their next attack.

This started off slow, and I was worried for a while that there wasn’t going to be a plotline, but once everything got going this was actually pretty entertaining. The characters weren’t the best conceived, and I know a lot of people were concerned about some of the cows being male, but this is a fun movie with a nice moral message and some pretty good looking animation.
