Roland Sharp (Jones) is a Texas Ranger who is assigned to protect a group of cheerleaders who are the only witnesses to the murder of a man who was supposed to give evidence against a drug kingpin, and Sharp is forced to go undercover as an assistant cheerleading coach in order to keep an eye in the girls.

This movie is definitely not Tommy Lee Jones’s finest hour, but it is still watchable. About half way through it seems to lose its way and meanders away from the plotline in favour of a few silly jokes, but there’s still enough here to make it bearable.
