Shall We Dance (2004) 7/10

Middle-aged lawyer John Clark (Gere) decides to take up a dance class after spotting the attractive dance instructor (Lopez) on his way home from work, but as he spends more and more time at dance classes, his wife Beverly (Sarandon) becomes increasingly suspicious and hires a private investiagator to find out where he’s going every Wednesday night.

I wasn’t expecting much out of this movie, but it was better than I expected. Granted, the motivations of Gere’s character to take up dance classes in the first place are highly suspect, but once you ignore that and get into the film it does become an enjoyable little romantic romp.
