War (2007) 7/10

Jack Crawford (Statham) is an FBI agent who seeks reveange against an assassin known simply as "Rogue" (Li) who was responsible for the death of his partner Tom and his family. After years of searching, Rogue finally shows up again, but this time he’s trying to start an all out war between two Asian mobs, and Crawford finds he at least has an opportunity to avenge his partner’s death.

This movie took a while to get into, but as far as martial arts thrillers go it was pretty good. Statham’s accent was as distracting as always, but I did like Li’s character and the ambiguous ending for his character was a nice touch which made for a nice twist which hopefully will not be ruined by an unnecessary sequel.
