When comic book artist Holden McNeil (Affleck) meets Alyssa Jones (Adams), he finds himself immediately falling in love with her, unfortunately she just so happens to be a lesbian. As their relationship as friends develops, Holden’s best friend Banky Edwards (Lee) finds himself having to warn Holden of the dangers of getting involved with Alyssa as he becomes more and more smitten with her.

This is great little movie, which doesn’t rely on special effects or confusing story lines to further it’s point, but instead relies on the basics of movie making : character and plot development. Every character is transformed in the course of this movie, and no-one is the same by the end. So watch it, it might inspire you to take the plunge with that certain someone who you’re not too sure about.
