Loser (2000) 6/10

College student Paul Tannek (Biggs) finds himself sharing a dorm room with three of the world’s worst roommates. They kick Paul out, and he is forced to set up home in a veterinary clinic, and soon meets Dora Diamond (Suvari), who he starts to fall in love with. Unfortunately she’s having an affair with one of her college professor’s, Edward Alcott (Kinnear).

This is an okay movie, but not one of Amy Heckerling’s finest. The plot was engaging and the cast put in some okay performances, the trouble is I’ve seen the actors all do better. Don’t get me wrong, I really like this movie, I just thought that there could have been more to it and there could have been a lot more substance to the whole storyline.
