The Grey Zone (2001) 6/10

Starring : David Arquette, Steve Buscemi, Harvey Keitel, Kamelia Grigorova
Director : Tim Blake Nelson
Running Time : 109 mins

A group of Hungarian Jews find themselves working in the concentration camps of the Nazi Germans, dealing with the corpses of their own people as well as their own families, but when one particular group find a young girl (Grigorova) has survived in the gas chamber, they do everything they can to try and save her from the Nazis.

This was clearly a movie that relied heavily on celebrity names rather than real drama, and uses every cliche in the book to further it's story. There some good moments, which generally outweigh the boring ones, but overall this felt like a vain attempt to make Schindler's List without Oscar Schindler.

You’ll like this if you liked : Schindler's List
