Young reckless detective Tre Stokes (Cannon) is sent undercover at a private school so that he can try to uncover information regarding a crime ring that has been stealing cars around town. Along the way he falls for one of the teachers at the school, Karen Lopez (Sanchez), and starts trying to romance her despite their teacher-student relationship.

This movie was pretty bad, with Nick Cannon putting in a pretty sub par and stereotyped performance. There’s a semblance of a plot, though it feels like it was lifted from an early Eddie Murphy movie that Eddie might have turned down. Basically Nick Cannon is awful in this, and very hard to watch. This is the kind of movie that gives black people a bad name, even though it’s unlikely any black people other than Cannon had anything to do with this. White people : stop trying to write black characters as stereotypes! Just make it so that their race makes no difference to the plot and let the actor make the choice of how to play the role.
