The Emperor's New Groove (2000) 7/10

In Disney's 39th Animated Classic, Emperor Kuzco (Spade) is tranformed into a llama by his evil advisor Yzma (Kitt) so that they can stop him ruling their kingdom and take over it themselves, but Kuzco desperately seeks the help of a poor peasant named Pacha (Goodman) so that together they can try to stop Yzma from taking over the kingdom.

This movie is largely rescued by Patrick Warburton as Kronk, but there is still enough here to keep anyone entertained. The classic animation which is sadly missing from Disney's more recent works has an angular charm all it's own here, and the simple story of finding the good in everyone, no matter how arrogant, won't be lost on the viewer.
