Patrick Bateman (Bale) works as an investment banker in New York City, but he hides a secret – he’s nuts, and his craziness is slowly coming out in his everyday life, no matter how hard he tries to disguise it. Everything he becomes involved in he takes as a slur against him, and he starts having fantasies that killing people may be the way ahead.

This is a great movie, which brought little known Welsh actor Christian Bale to the forefront in American cinema, though he seems to have been typecast as a sociopath. The cast are all brilliant in their respective roles, with very little to complain about, other than the overly ambiguous ending and the odd accent slip from Bale. Definitely one worth watching more than once.
