Starring : Johnny Depp, Heather Graham, Ian Holm, Robbie Coltrane
Director : Albert Hughes
Running Time : 117 mins
Scotland Yard Inspector Frederick Abberline (Depp) is set with the task of investigating a series of prostitute murders, perpetrated by the mysterious and infamous figure known only as Jack The Ripper, but as his investigation develops, he starts to see links between Jack and a highly regarded member of the aristocracy…
Probably not the most memorable of movies, this is still a pretty good effort, most notably due to Johnny Depp putting in another sterling performance. The additional cast do a good job of supporting Depp, and Holm is his usual slightly sinister self. Definitely worth watching if you like Sherlock Holmes-like Victorian thrillers.
