Arrogant race car Lightning McQueen (Wilson) gets lost on his way to a very important race and ends up in Radiator Springs, a middle of nowhere town filled with cars who have no idea who he is, and gets sentenced to community service mending the roads he accidentally destroyed. But when he discovers that the town’s judge, Doc Hudson (Newman) is a famous race car that went missing decades before, he decides to try and turn over a new leaf.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie with it’s simple tale of good and bad without going over the top into outright villainy. Wilson was a good choice as Lightning McQueen as he always sounds a little arrogant and sure of himself, and the in jokes about the use of the same character actors in the Pixar movies brought a smile to my face.
