Starring : George Clooney, Natascha McElhone, Viola Davis, Jeremy Davies, Ulrich Tukur, John Cho
Director : Steven Soderbergh
Running Time : 96 mins
Psychologist Chris Kelvin (Clooney) is asked to visit a remote space station, where he discovers that a strange phenomena is causing people from the crews’ memories to appear to them as though they were real. Kelvin is sceptical until his dead wife Rheya (McElhone) appears to him, but he has to decide if this is really his wife or if the phenomena is playing with their minds…
A pretty decent, though slow paced movie, I actually found this quite enjoyable. The slow pacing is perfect for this movie, where we are not led by the hand to discover what is happening, but our still kept quite informed and aren’t annoyed by the lack of explanation like in such similar moves as Sunshine.
