Aileen Wuornos (Theron) is a highway prostitute who, after starting a lesbian relationship with a woman named Selby (Ricci), decides she no longer wants to have to use sex to earn her keep, so turns to killing her clients and taking their money without first servicing them.

This movie contained some brilliant performances from a barely recognisable Charlize Theron, who plays Wuornos excellently. This was well written and well performed for the most part but, unfortunately, I found Christina Ricci’s performance a little wooden, which kind of let down the rest of the movie.
