Starring : Zach Braff, Amanda Peet, Jason Bateman, Charles Grodin, Mia Farrow
Director : Jesse Peretz
Running Time : 88 mins
When Tom Reilly (Braff) is fired from his job, he is forced by his wife Sofia (Peet) to take a job with his father-in-law (Grodin). Unfortunately this involves working with Chip Sanders (Bateman), an old flame of his wife’s who also happens to be disabled. Tom tries to be nice to Chip, but he finds it more and more difficult working with him, and starts to believe that Chip is out to get him.
This is an incredibly underrated movie which didn’t even get a cinema release in the UK for some reason I can’t quite fathom. Despite having little or no support, I found this movie both entertaining and hilarious, with Bateman delivering once of his most evil performances to date!
