Duplex (2003) 7/10

Alex Rose (Stiller) and Nancy Kendricks (Barrymore) are a young couple who find the bargain of a lifetime when they buy a duplex apartment in New York, but when they discover that their upstairs tenant, Mrs Connelly (Essell), is a nightmare to live with, they plot a way to get rid of her.

This wasn’t too bad, but Drew Barrymore doesn’t really suit slapstick. The plot was quite old fashioned and ran quite well, with some nice set pieces, but I hated the ending and couldn’t understand why they didn’t just report the old lady to environmental health!
