A New York Publicist named Stu Shepard (Farrell) finds himself in a sticky situation when he answers a ringing phone in a phone booth and is told by the person on the other end (Sutherland) that if he hangs up he’ll be shot! As the sniper progresses, Stu learns that he seems to know a lot about his private life, and that the situation he is in is anything but coincidental…

One of the better action thrillers of recent years, this just goes to show that a film doesn’t have to be two and a half hours long to be a blockbuster. In spite of being made quickly and having just one major locale, this was a terrific thriller with lots of tension and some great performances.
