A young pigeon named Valiant (McGregor) tricks his way past the height restrictions to join the Royal Air Force Homing Pigeon Service during the second world war, but when the elite pigeon groups are lost in action, Valiant and his Z squad team find themselves on a life and death mission to deliver important documents to the allied forces.
This was in no way the best animated movie I’ve seen in a long time, mainly due to the fact it doesn’t appear to be aimed at children. A lot of the concepts, in my opinion, were a lot more directed at adults, what with the themes of death and torture throughout, but there was still a light hearted side to the film which brought it back up onto more of a comedy level.
