Lara Croft Tomb Raider : The Cradle Of Life (2003) 5/10

Lara Croft (Jolie) discovers an orb that contains the secret location of the mythical Pandora’s Box, but it gets stolen by virus specialist Jonathan Reiss (Hinds) who hopes to sell the box as a weapon to the highest bidder. Lara is then recruited by British Intelligence to recover the orb before Reiss can find the location of Pandora’s Box, and she is paired up with Terry Sheridan (Butler), her one time lover.

Filled with enough action and sex appeal to keep the average teenaged boy content for two hours, this was however a rather unnecessary sequel with very little to offer other than gratuitous chase scenes, mixed with random fighting, amid sexy shots of Angelina Jolie. Despite that, this is still reasonably entertaining for those who can put up with the slow moving plot.
