Enid (Birch) and Rebecca (Johansson) drift through life with no real ambition and a loathing for everything that surrounds them. When they meet a middle-aged guy called Seymour (Buscemi) they decide to play a joke on him, but Enid soon discovers that she and Seymour have a lot in common and becomes close friends with him.
A great little film, and very underrated, based on the "Eightball" comic strips and graphic novel of Daniel Clowes, this takes a simple premise and simple characters and turns both into a highly entertaining movie.
