Real estate agent Jim Evers (Murphy) visits an old mansion that’s up for sale he thinks he could set for life with the commission he’d make from the place, but when he finds out it’s haunted and that the resident ghost thinks that Jim’s wife (Thomason) is his dead girlfriend, thinks start to look a bit more problematic.

An entertaining enough family comedy, which will keep kids entertained with all the ghosts and special effects, but definitely not Eddie Murphy’s finest hour, nor for that matter is it Terence Stamp’s.
