The mummified corpse of High Priest Ihmotep (Vosloo) is shipped over to a museum in England where he is once again revived from the dead, this time by a direct descendant of Anck Su Namun (Velasquez). Once again Rick O’Connell (Fraser) and his now-wife Evie (Weisz) must fight the evil forces before they take over the world with their army of the dead.
This wasn’t too bad for a hasty sequel, and the introduction of a son to the mix wasn’t too annoying. Unfortunately this did at times feel like it was just a big advertisement for The Scorpion King, and the special effects on The Rock were really not that great.
