50 First Dates (2004) 7/10

Henry Roth (Sandler) works in Hawaii as a vet, and spends his time going on dates with the latest attractive holiday maker to come to the island. Then one day he meets Lucy Whitmore (Barrymore), and island dweller who he falls for straight away. But when he meets her the next day, she can’t remember who he is or ever having met him as she suffers from short-term memory loss.

Another bitter-sweet comedy featuring Adam Sandler; it seems to be his thing at the moment! This is worth watching though; despite being a bit mushy towards the end, this is still a decent film with a few laughs and a nice “moral message”.
