Just Married (2003) 5/10

Against the wishes of all of her family and friends, Sarah McNerney (Murphy) gets married to Tom Leezak (Kutcher). Everything seems to be going well for them until Sarah’s father (Rasche) send her ex-boyfriend Peter (Kane) to Europe to follow them and try to spoil their honeymoon so that Sarah will leave Tom, but he needn’t have bothered, as everything on the honeymoon goes wrong from the get go!

This film had just a little too much slapstick for my liking. Not that I don’t like slapstick, I just don’t like it when it isn’t done well! Murphy was her usual dippy self, as was Kutcher, and too many dippy actors and not enough straight ones can be quite disastrous in a comedy film!
