The Lord Of The Rings : The Return Of The King (2003) 7/10

In the third and final part of the trilogy, Frodo (Wood) and Sam (Astin) are almost at Mount Doom, where they need to destroy the ring, but they have been joined by Gollum (Serkis), a former possessor of the ring who desperately wants it back. Meanwhile, the former fellowship go into battle against Sauron’s forces of evil.

Despite not being as good as the first two instalments, this was still a pretty good film. Unfortunately, as seems to be the case with the majority of Peter Jackson’s films, this was just too long and felt like it should have ended a good half an hour before it eventually did.
