Wedding Crashers (2005) 9/10

John Beckwith (Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vaughn) are a pair of bachelors who get their kicks by crashing weddings and having sex with the most attractive women there. This all backfired however when they go to the biggest wedding event of the year : the marriage of the eldest daughter of Treasury Secretary William Cleary (Walken)! John finds himself falling for Cleary’s other daughter Claire (McAdams), whilst Jeremy finds himself being stalked by the extremely scary daughter Gloria (Fisher)!

I really enjoyed this film, and found myself laughing out loud at many of the scenarios that arose throughout the film. Fisher is genuinely frightening as Gloria Cleary, and I really worried for Vaughn’s safety throughout. Despite being over two hours long, the plot didn’t feel like it was being dragged out for the sake of racking up the minutes.
