Randy (Dillon) is a bartender who finds himself in a relationship with a mysterious woman named Jewel (Tyler) after he rescues her from what seems to be a sexual attack. Jewel is not what she seems, as Randy soon discovers when he hears about all the other men she’s been seeing, as well as the fact that the man who tried to rape her was her boyfriend, and they were planning on robbing Randy!
This was a pretty average movie transformed into an above average movie but some nice performances. Dillon’s role as the innocent straight man is inspired, and Douglas is quite good as his sounding board for the story. “ith some funny set pieces mixed in with dark humour, this is definitely worth giving a try.
