Batman Begins (2005) 6/10

Bruce Wayne (Bale), after having witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, becomes obsessed with avenging the wrong-doings of the world. Having spent some time in the East, where he had been training with the ninja cult leader Ra's Al-Ghul (Watanabe), he returns to Gotham City to find it is now basically being controlled through crime. This pushes him into becoming The Batman, and the rest is history!

This is one of the few DC Comic movies that actually based itself, at least in part, on the original source material. Despite this fact, I thought it was still a little too slow going and, much like the comics, expected the viewer to suspend their disbelief a little too often.
