Gabriel Noone (Williams) is a radio show host who is introduced over the phone to a young boy who has written a book about his terrible childhood, but when Noone’s ex-boyfriend (Cannavale) comments that the boys voice sounds the same as that of his careworker, Donna (Collette), Noone finds himself questioning if the boy ever existed.

A very strange film, which never really answers any questions, mainly due to the fact it’s based on a true story. Williams does come across in a very mixed way, sometimes funny and sometimes creepy, but never really 100% suited to the role, and some of the choices in camera focus make us the viewer believe that the child must have existed because we’ve seen him!
